
Bruce Jennings, LMHC
Biography
Bruce Jennings has provided assessment and counseling services at Sarkis Family Psychiatry since 2002. After receiving his BS in Psychology from Murray State University and his MA in Psychology from Western Kentucky University, he started his counseling career in 1983. He has provided individual, couple, family, and group therapy to children, adolescents and adults in a range of settings which includes mental health centers, hospitals, correctional facilities, schools and nursing homes.
Bruce appreciates that each of us is unique and has unique needs in therapy. He strives to use the most relevant techniques from many therapy modalities (including humanistic, behavioral and cognitive) to create an effective, individualized treatment approach for each person. He is skilled with quantitative EEG, a useful tool for assessment, and with neurofeedback (a biofeedback technique which uses measurement of your brain’s activity to help you create change).
